Symptoms of endometriosis

Symptoms of the endometriosis are different and vary with each individual patient, sometimes they are chaotic and sometimes are similar to symptoms of other diseases.

• Pain in abdominal area before or during menstruation, as well as during ovulation;
• Pain in the hip area, including lower back area before or during menstruation;
• Pain when using the toilet;
• Chronic pain in the hip area;
• Chronic tiredness;
• Pain during sexual intercourse;
• Difficulties getting pregnant;
• Formation of “chocolate” cysts on the ovaries (with a thick shell that do not disappear on their own)
• Digestive problems;
• Often bloating after meal (forming the so called endo-belly);
• Food intolerance;
• Body changes, more often expressed in weight gain that cannot be lost neither by exercising or dieting;
• Hormonal imbalance – sex hormone levels (progesterone, estrogen), thyroid hormones and stress hormones vary and are often very low or very high; decreased insulin sensitivity
• Frequent infections (bladder, urinary tract, kidneys);
• Frequent vaginal infections, especially with Candida Albicans
• Reduced immunity;
• Insufficient key micro and macro nutrition and vitamins – Vitamin D, Vit. B12, magnesium and other;
