Hera Medical Center becomes a preferred partner in the PPD Select program of Thermo Fisher Scientific.

Hera Medical Center in Sofia, Kyustendil and Montana has officially joined the prestigious international PPD Select Partnership program, led by PPD – part of the clinical research business of Thermo Fisher Scientific, a global leader in the field of clinical trials.

The signed Collaboration Charter aims to deepen the strategic partnership between our center and PPD through:

• Increasing opportunities to participate in international clinical studies and access to innovative therapies;

• Expanding patients’ access to new medicinal products and therapies;

• Improving organizational processes and operational efficiency in the initiation and conduct of studies;

• Sustainable development through shared goals, information exchange, and regular strategic meetings.

As part of the program, Hera Medical Center will work in close collaboration with the team of PPD Strategic Site Collaborations to ensure high quality in the conduct of clinical studies and to actively contribute to the development of medical science for the benefit of patients.

The partnership is another step forward in our efforts to be a leading organization in clinical research in Bulgaria and the region. It is also another recognition of the competence and professionalism of our center’s team, following our joining in 2023 as a Prime Site for clinical trials of IQVIA – a leading global provider of advanced analytics, technology solutions, and clinical research services in healthcare, with operations in more than 100 countries.

With the signed Collaboration Charter with PPD in practice, Hera Medical Center becomes a trusted partner of two of the largest companies in the world in the field of clinical research.
