Three physicians from Hera Medical Center are included in the prestigious ranking “The Doctors We Trust” for 2025.

We are proud to share that three physicians from the team of Hera Medical Center are among those recognized in the national ranking “The Doctors We Trust” for 2025. The ranking includes more than 800 distinguished medical professionals from across the country who have earned the respect and trust of their patients.

Among those recognized from our center are Dr. Kiril Palaveev, Dr. Ivan Popadiyn and Dr. Ralitsa Pancheva – physicians whose dedication and expertise inspire confidence and hope in patients every day.

Dr. Kiril Palaveev is a specialist in pulmonology and phthisiology, internal diseases, and bronchoscopy. He is the manager of the Specialized Hospital for Active Treatment of Pulmonary and Phthisiatric Diseases – Sofia Region, as well as a member of the team at Hera Medical Center. He has served as Chief Coordinator of the Expert Council on Pulmonology and Phthisiology at the Ministry of Health and is a recipient of the “Dr. Dimitar Gramatikov” award for contribution to the development of the pulmonary and phthisiatric network. His scientific interests include diseases of the respiratory system, including bronchial asthma, COPD, tuberculosis, pulmonary fibrosis, and others.

Dr. Ivan Popadiyn, MD, PhD, is a gastroenterologist, Chief Assistant at the Clinic of Gastroenterology at the Military Medical Academy and a member of the team at Hera Medical Center. He has many years of experience in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, liver, bile ducts, and pancreas. He performs endoscopic examinations such as colonoscopy and gastroscopy and actively participates in scientific studies aimed at discovering new and more effective therapies.

Dr. Ralitsa Pancheva, MD, PhD, is a cardiologist in the Cardiology Department of the Clinic of Internal Medicine Propedeutics at Aleksandrovska University Hospital and a physician at Hera Medical Center. She is one of the few specialists in Bulgaria holding a European Certificate in Cardiology. She performs diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of cardiovascular diseases, including Holter ECG and blood pressure monitoring. She actively participates in clinical studies related to diseases of the cardiovascular system.
