Dr. Georgi Kimenov is a general practitioner with over 20 years of medical experience, including pediatric care.

General medicine is the broadest medical specialty, focusing on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of various diseases. Doctors who practice general medicine are known as general practitioners or family doctors.

For us, the relationship between personal doctors and specialists is fundamental to better organization and a commitment to professional and responsible patient care. Our goal is to provide comprehensive patient care through both personal doctors and specialized medical professionals, aiming for true healthcare service in a facility characterized by integrity, attention, and professionalism.

How to Change Your Personal Doctor

As a health-insured individual, you have the right to choose a general practitioner anywhere in the country. You can change your general practitioner:

• You can change your personal doctor up to twice a year within the same health region (municipality). The periods for this are from June 1 to June 30 and from December 1 to December 31.
• If you move to a different town or city (for example, if studentsrelocate to study in another city), you can change your personal doctor at any time during the year without adhering to the above deadlines.
• There is no official procedure for changing a general practitioner outside the June and December campaigns. However, if you need to change your doctor due to reasons such as dissatisfaction, a conflict, or other exceptional circumstances, you can seek assistance from the Regional Health Insurance Fund (RZI). Submit a request to the director of the RZI. You must wait for the director’s decision, which should be made within one month. Afterward, you will need to complete a registration form to choose a new personal doctor.

Dr. Kimenov`s Working Hours

Dr. Kimenov is available to see patients from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, at Hera Medical Center in Sofia (Hadzhi Dimitar residential area, Klisura Street No. 20, DCC 23, 2nd floor). After 2:00 PM, Dr. Kimenov conducts home visits.

Patient Fees

Currently, all individuals who have retired receive a discounted consultation fee of 1 lev. For all other cases, the consultation fee is 2.90 lev.
