Endocrinology is a branch of medicine dedicated to endocrine glands study and treatment. Endocrine glands release hormones that are essential for most of the human body’s functions and systems. The endocrine system is responsible for metabolism, reproductive system, glucose levels, blood pressure, temperature, energy, bone growth, and many more. All occurring problems with endocrine glands result in a number of illnesses, such as diabetes, obesity, osteoporosis, thyroid gland disorders, etc.
